How It Works
Denosumab is a monoclonal antibody that targets the RANKL pathway involved in bone remodeling. By reducing the activity of osteoclasts, the cells responsible for breaking down bone tissue, it helps decrease excessive bone resorption.
Denub may be prescribed for osteoporosis and other conditions associated with significant bone loss, depending on the patient's clinical condition. Calcium and vitamin D status should be appropriately managed, and regular medical follow-up is important during treatment.

Dosage & How to Use
- ✦ Denub 60 mg/mL is administered as a subcutaneous injection.
- ✦ The usual osteoporosis dose is 60 mg once every six months.
- ✦ Calcium and vitamin D supplementation may be recommended by your doctor.
- ✦ Calcium levels may require monitoring during treatment.
- ✦ Do not change the dosing schedule without medical advice.
- ✦ Maintain regular followup appointments during longterm treatment.
Side Effects
- ✦ Back, muscle, or joint pain may occur during treatment.
